I have a feature request as follows:

An advanced filter that could be set up to filter the database in realtime, as
criteria is being entered and/or changed in the criteria range.

For further explanation lets suppose the requested feature would be located at
Data>Filter>Dynamic Advanced Filter. Its dialog box similar to that of the
regular Advanced Filter.

(Examples below are based on attached file DynamicAdvancedFilter.ods)

With the regular advanced filter, I have to:
1 Select the data range (B6:F9)
2 Go to Data>Filter>Advanced Filter.
3 Define criteria range (B2:F4) and other settings as needed.
4 Hit OK to see results.
Each time I need to update the filter, I have to repeat steps 2, 3 and 4.

With the proposed Dynamic Advanced Filter, I'd do this:
1 Select the data range (B6:F9)
2 Go to Data>Filter>Dynamic Advanced Filter.
3 Define criteria range (B2:F4) and other settings as needed.
4 Hit OK to start dynamic filtering, with the settings saved into the document,
so that each time I open it, the filter can be updated by simply updating data
in the criteria range, and without using any dialog box.

Anyone seeing the potential pls help me by voting this up!

Thanks.
