------- Additional comments from ipelleg...@openoffice.org Tue Oct 26 15:18:08 +0000 2010 ------- I do not think that that is an acceptable work-around for most users. Time Machine is an optional feature on Macs and many users do not have it switched on. I hope that a patch will be issued by OO to fix this issue. Other software packages that also rely on Java, do not seem to be affected by the Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 3. That may point at the possibility that OO is not accurate in determining the JAVA_HOME automatically, now that it has been moved to a new location. This is just a shot in the dark on my side however. In the meantime I will stand on the sideline and cheer for the OO guys who are trying to find a solution to this problem. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
