@mnsteve: I think that either jl or tm found a solution and applied a patch 
directly to the upstream OOo 
sources which will be used to build an upcoming RC3. That's my interpretation 
of the command that jl 
made today at 13:42 CET.

But any clarification from either jl or tm is welcome. 

If you complain about a lack of transparency try to report a similar issue to 
MS maybe they are more 
detailed and transparent on how they solve your issue.
