And the citations for "do like M$ Word" is not really a good advice, as Word shows only the vertical position in measurement units and the horizontal position as "column" - whatever that may mean in a world after the fixed fonts era. The only solution to me is the one from WordPerfect: Show the x/y position in measurement units.
