Instead, you could simply move the graph in such a way it is the only object in a page when the spreadsheet is printed and export the spreadsheet as a PDF. Once you have the PDF, it is just a matter of copying the image using the image copying tool of your favorite PDF reader. Alternately, if you paste it into a new Drawing, then you can 'Export' it as an image file directly. Having said that, these options are simply 'workarounds'.
