Docking Panel is a new implemented UI element which supports Extension usage.
Literally, it'a container window derived from DockWin, and extra docking areas
are defined to support its docking feature. literally, all the UNO items could
be put inside the DockingPanel, and container window like toolbars and menubars
are could also be the children of the DockingPanel. From developers point of
view, the DockingPanel could be a toolset which is much more versatile than
toolbox. More, only one script file would be sufficient to describe the
contains
and layout( currently only way ) of the DockingPanel. Easier to develop, easier
to maintain, even easier for dummies to get hands on. Write your own Extensions
from now on.

Currently the feature has been done by RedFlag2000. However to go further to
enable multiple panel grouping, define the way of grouping, calculate layout
style when docked(using the current split window or not). How about the Layout
inside the DockingPanel( even affect the layout of dialogs ). All of those
questions are currently unresolved.

As the concern mentioned, we'd like to have your brains, do give advice. And
all
the works and efforts we made will deliver to the community without any of the
reservation, Of course prerequisite is that the community like to accept. Cheers
