How can this be works as designed? It's printing blank pages. It's internally 
inconsistent. If you print from the mail merge menu, it prints only the pages 
with text. If you print the resulting merged document, it prints the blanks. 
And the blanks make printing labels even more annoying than it already is 
because you have to either stack twice as many sheets in the printer, or put a 
blank normal sheet after each one. If this was Quark or InDesign where left 
and right pages actually meant something, maybe I could see it. But it's not. 
Why does a merged document have to have an even number of pages in an 
application that's being used for stacks of paper not book design?
