sba -> lodahl: We decided to merge the Danish thesaurus with the Danish
hyphenation and spelling into a single extension. Reasons:
(A) The "only advantage" of two extensions is that they can be updated
independently, following their "respective update notification".
(B) Pre-bundled extensions do not get update-notifications anymore, so (A) does
not affect i.e. a Danish OOo build (or DA languagepack) anyway.
(C) In a language pack, only ONE extension can be bundled. So a merge is a must
in order to give full functionality to the user.
We propose that you "merge" the Danish Thes with the Hyph and Spell stuff from
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/de/project/dict-da in the future.
To us, it looks as if both extensions comes from the same sources already
(http://www.stavekontrolden.dk/). What do you think?
One more topic:
In your Thesaurus, you have a "help" file. It is not translated (Danish only)
and the contents looks like an "About box" only. It contains no real "help"
information concerning the use. There is no other spell/hyph/thes extension yet
that has a "help" page. The only exception is the (non-free) German Duden
Korrektor wich is a grammar and spelling extension that one brings along its own
UI that indeed does need explanation.
Do you agree to cut this help folder out for the merged pre-bundled extension TL
will make for 3.4?
