# java -version
   java version "1.6.0_16"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_16-b01)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.2-b01, mixed mode)

That's the output of "java -version", so Java is running in 64bit mode.

How can I check what version of OpenOffice I'm running? Is there any file
containing this info or a command that returns it?

I've been Google'ing for this but without any success.

Consider that I only have access through console, no desktop available.

Thanks again for your help.

Best regards,
    Peter.
