------- Additional comments from jbo...@openoffice.org Tue Nov 23 03:16:22 +0000 2010 ------- I was going to report this and found that it had already been reported (which I suspected it would have been). I would like to suggest that the priority be increased from P5 as Writer is supposed to be a word processor (that produces professional looking documents), not a text editor (that captures what the user typed). Having blank lines at the top of a new page is a very fundamental typographical "no no" when producing documents. I would, however, go further than gandalf458 if this is being referred to the requirements team, and say that all blank lines at the start of any frame should be suppressed by default. To provide full flexibility, it might be desirable to be able to assign a property to frames that force them to preserve the line spacing (maybe in a situation where "preformatted" text is being printed... but even for things like program listings, the page break is enough to visually represent any amount of vertical whitespace... if it's that important to preserve blank lines, then a text editor would be more appropriate). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
