Importance is with out these functions to accurately specify dimensions and angles of rotation of 3D objects Draw cannot be efficiently used for orthographic or perspective drawings. 3D Settings tool bar does not appear when 3D object is created. When picked from View > Toolbars > 3D Settings, It remains grayed out and unusable. Unable to get to any of the functions through the menus. 1. open a new draw document 2. Select object from 3D Objects. 3. select View > Toolbars > 3D Settings. 4. Tool bar is displayed grayed out. The functions which are unavailable are: Extrusion on/off Switches the 3D effects on and off for the selected objects. Tilt Down Tilts the selected object downwards by five degrees. Tilt Up Tilts the selected object upwards by five degrees. Tilt Left Tilts the selected object left by five degrees. Tilt Right Tilts the selected object right by five degrees. Depth Opens the Extrusion Depth window [extremely important]. Also not available in 3D Effects Geometry tool.] Select an extrusion depth. Enter an extrusion depth. Direction Opens the Extrusion Direction window. Select a direction. Select a perspective or parallel extrusion method.[Also extremely important] Lighting Opens the Extrusion Lighting window. Select a lighting direction. Select a lighting intensity. Surface Opens the Extrusion Surface window. Select a surface material or a wireframe display. 3D Color Opens the Extrusion Color toolbar. Have screen shot but do not see button here to include it.
