------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue May 3 00:42:10 -0700 2005 ------- Hi erpel, agreed that an inconsistency of the same feature between applications is a bad thing. But it is not that easy. If you mean shape when you say object you are right, drag and copy by default makes sense. When you mean page when you say object thats a different story. If you drag around a page in slide sorter you sure would like to move it around to another position and not copy it. So then there would be an inconsistency in one application itself. Yes it is only a small fix to change the default, but often when we change small things the next day someone else with another opinion file the next issue against the change. So more than one people should take a look at the pro and cons. Then each fix in a huge product like OpenOffice requires work in development, release engineering, possible documentation, translation and last but never the less least, quality assurence. Also each change introduce the risk of a regression. And for an Office solution, stability is a key. To make it short, I think your issue is valid, but it is one of the >5500 not so importent right now issues we have :) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
