When importing the display is usable for the first few pages, then truncates at page 5. The full text cannot be selected with cntl-A to copy and paste it into a new document. Only the visible portion can be selected and pasted. The rest is simply inaccessible. Trying to scroll down scroll into blank space. There does not appear to be any text to blindly swipe over to select and change font characteristics to make it visible. The document can be read by Windows XP WordPad. "Save as" in WordPad with a new filename produces a document that OpenOffice 3.2.1 can read, with some loss of superscipts on references. Microsoft Word 97 can read the document and display it if full. However, after "Save as" from Word 97, OpenOffice has the same problem reading the newly saved one as affected the original document.
