How to reproduce (in OOo 3.3 RC7; OOO330m17; Dutch version): *enter some text in native language *select text *'Format -> Character' *tab '(text)-Effects' (the second tab, I'm not sure it's the correct translation; translated dutch tabname) *Check 'Hide' *OK -> text is now hidden *Do not click or do something that "deselect" the hidden text; Just go again to 'Format -> Character' and uncheck 'Hide'. *OK Result: -> text is still hidden.
