------- Additional comments from s_bio...@openoffice.org Wed Dec 15 13:54:57 +0000 2010 ------- I have cells of which their colour is defined by hidden neighbouring cells via conditional formatting rules of the cell. I would like a robust way for users to be able to copy paste text data between cells without changing its conditional format rules. Of course I know I can use the special paste function which does not override the conditional formatting, but new users of the sheet surely will forget not to use CTRL-V and end up with a broken color formatting after the did it once. So I propose to extend the protection scheme to not protect entire cells, but to protect categories like you specify at CRTL-SHIFT-V. I could also live with a file based instead of application based setting (keyboard shortcut) that forbids CTRL-V or redirects CTRL-V to CTRL-SHIFT-V. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
