I have used the workaround that AW has suggested and it works pretty well, but if you have multiple lines of text, only the first row is visible with this option enabled. Still, if this feature already exists in the code base, it is shame that so useful feature is so well hidden from the ordinary users. I think more people would use it if this setting could be integrated to the regular "Format" -> "Text" dialog, where you already can set position of the text ancor.
