Of course this has to do with the solution... If the option "Allow row to break
across pages..." is not checked, a new page won't be created at all. It is a
compatibility option to older versions of OpenOffice (< OOo 2.0) where table
rows/cells were not able to break across pages at all.
If you switch on this option, you will get the desired result... a different
behavior won't be implemented at all because of compatibility to older OOo 
versions.
