There may be a problem when searching for other contractions but that has not been tested. Copying and pasting the following text into OpenOffice Writer will demonstrate the problem I have found. I am currently using version 3.2.1 (build 9502) on an eMachines desktop computer using Windows Vista. ******************************************************************************** This is test text showing it’s incorrect to use the contraction of IT and IS for the possessive form and the example of the find/replace function not actually seeing the contraction form when checking it’s text. (Note: in this sample, "its" should have been used.) A search of this text does not find “it’s” being used at all. To test this text copy and paste it into OOo Writer, start up the “Find & Replace” function, place “it’s” in the “Search For” window and click on the “Find” button.
