In BadRefresh.odt, set to show non-printing chars; select 'X', copy it (^c).
select 1st '(?t+ß)', hit ^v: 'X' replaces string. But... EOL is not refreshed
properly: spurious -ß).
select 2nd '(?t+ß)', hit ^v: EOL is not refreshed properly; we now have
(apparently) 2 spurious -ß) and 3 EOL!
It's only a redisplay problem; hitting PgDn and Pgup clears the spurious 
strings.
