------- Additional comments from eri...@openoffice.org Thu Jan 27 08:38:22 +0000 2011 ------- OS: WinXP Pro SP3 eng x86 OpenOffice version: 3.3 (latest stable) Chipset: Intel G41 RAM: 2x2GB (4GB) CPU: Intel E7500 I tried opening a large XLSX file (11.5MB) in Calc. This file contains 180,000 rows. Microsoft Office 2007 opens this file on my system in roughly 6-8 seconds. However, OpenOffice Calc tries to open it, and simply hangs. The process "soffice.bin" causes the CPU to at stay at about 50% load. I also tried opening a small XLSX file, which opened instantly in Calc. However, one of the cells that contains the following test "(TDP)", showed up visually as ")TDP(". so the parenthesis were displayed in the wrong order. Please do try to test your releases prior to making them stable/final. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
