------- Additional comments from jammasterja...@openoffice.org Wed Feb 2 19:19:50 +0000 2011 ------- >From the Help menu in Open Office 3.1.1 as well as an older Sun Openoffice >howto document I found on the web, how to change the default fill area for shapes is as follows: 1. Goto Format->area 2. select new default fill area 3. click OK If you try adding a new shape to your Impress session right after doing that, it the default fill color will not be what you selected. personally for me, I'm tired of the default fill color for shapes being blue. A more useful default color is actually invisible. I normally just want to draw boxes or circles around stuff. This to me would seem like a more common user-experience case. There is actually no default selection for 'invisible' for Format->Area. The closest is 'white'. Anyways, if changing the default fill color would work better and have an option to select 'invisible', I could at least fix my own setup. Thanks. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
