------- Additional comments from jrtc...@openoffice.org Tue Feb 8 19:22:27 +0000 2011 ------- Since v.3.2.1 the ability to burn an installation CD from unpacked files is impossible (I hand these out for free to the folks at a +55 community). The installation stalls a "copy new files" and sometimes it will install after 6min and sometimes not at all. I downloaded the new .iso file and it seems to function OK except it installs an older version of JRE on top of a newer, installed version (not smart enough to see a later version.(Need an ISO without JRE). For years, I've been using the unpack or extract method to burn CDs but it no longer works. I downloaded a copy of LibreOffice and extracted the files, burned a CD and had no problems (it ain't my stuff)! I could copy the download version and burn it to CDs, but the old folks here don't know how to open the drive, double click, etc, etc!
