The Ubuntu (Linux) 3.3.0 build of Libreoffice from here ( https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ppa ) has two bugs in Impress that are relevant to this issue. Bug 1) Can't insert media into a slide (Apparently an Ubuntu/Debian 10.04 issue), and there is a current workaround. Not OO.org's issue ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/660807/comments/9 ) Bug 2) The sound echo bug is still in LO and has been confirmed.
