Now put a hsqldb.jar (newer Version) to the classpath. Extern Databases work. Could be the intern database works one time again. Next time a popup appears: The database has beeen created with a newer version of OpenOffice. You could only open the database after extracting and editing the properties-file. Other way: you could open the database with OOo 3.1.1 - this works. Same behaviour without the extern hsqldb.jar if you close a database in OOo 3.1.1 with SHUTDOWN COMPACT and try to open this database in OOo 3.3.
