Having edited a document file and saved (or "saved as") a MS Word file
(***.doc), when trying the open the file again it says that the file is still
open in another application and so can only open as acopy or read-only. The are
no "locked for editing" files in the sub-directory containing the file so why is
it doing this? I have just upgraded from an earlier version of Open Office.

I also cannot delete any of the "rogue" files in Windows Explorer as it says
they are in use by another application.

This problem is causing me a major issue as I need to get copies of a number of
documents finished and sent to the printers; so I need help/advice quickly!!
