User jbu changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Status|REOPENED |STARTED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat May 7 11:10:53 -0700 2005 ------- Hi, thx for this hint, I actually overlooked the (somewhat strange) semantics of the return value. This is really a nonsense API. Simply strdup() is not possible, because this would introduce a very large memory leak (this is called for every transition between uno and python). So I think, I am forced to maintain a static hash_map of used locales. How can have a function with 2 arguments and one return value so many design flaws ?
