If I run spadmin it does not give even give me the opportunity to add a printer - it only lets me add a fax or pdf converter. I am using FC2, KDE 3.4, OO.o 1.9.100 - (kprinter available in OO.o 1.1.3) but have had same experience with several earlier betas.
