------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue May 10 02:55:09 -0700 2005 ------- Created a table, first field set to a defalult varchar text field, second field set to INTEGER auto increment primary key. Table saved; saved accepted. Opening the table for inserting, the pk field is the second; this is correct. Reopened the table for editing; the first field (the text one) was cut. Doing so, the second field (the pk) becomes the first. The cutted field was then pasted on the second row; doing so, we actually switched the fields. Saved accepted. Database closed and reopened. However, reopening the table for inserting, the pk field is still the second; this is NOT correct. I've also tried to do the same without involving the pk, using three fields (text-text-int pk), but the problem remains. Thanks for your attention.
