------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed May 11 05:12:07 -0700 2005 ------- Imagine a simple engineering drawing, with a terminal pin drawn as a square, with a number in it. Now remember that typically you may want to make 60 of those, sequentially numbered, evenly spaced on the drawing. I'd like to suggest a replicate tool, similar to the 'duplicate' tool in Serif Drawplus, but with auto-incrementing numbers if required. This would be a fine bit of product differentiation. 1. Replicate selected item into grid, with spefified number of rows and columns, and specified x and y spacing. 2. Replicate ditto, but auto-increment numbering. A separate increment range for x and y might be useful, to create things like A1 A2 A3 B1 B2 B3 but it should also be possible to do things like: 1 2 3 4 5 6 or 1 4 7 2 5 8 3 6 9 3. Replicate over other co-ordinate systems, e.g isometric, radial, along a curved path. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
