I used this rc file for years and with plenty of fullscreen and presentation programs, such as xv, netscape, mozilla, kpresenter, several video players etc. Openoffice is the only program which ever had this problem. All other programs were displaying full screen mode properly. So it is a bug of openoffice. The rc file entry is just the detail which openoffice can't cope with and ommitting it is not a bug fix, but a workaround.
