This would mean that no psprint.conf could be written. Either the shared
psprint.conf in <office>/share/psprint/psprint.conf (in case you're  the
administrator and configure for all users) or <user>/user/psprint/psprint.conf
needs to be writeable/createable. <user> is usually in your home directory:
.OpenOffice.org or some such (depends on which build you use).

The most simple case would be that you did not run OOo before running spadmin;
the <user> directory may simply not exist in that case. Does the problem vanish
if you start spadmin after you had already run OOo ?
