It is not OOo that behaves wrong, but the application used to view the pdf doesn't support transparency/alpha channel. Try with acrobat reader and you get a proper display. There exists a RFE already to remove the transparency from the PDF. Thus I mark this one as duplicate. In the meantime: * use a PDF-viewer capable of transparency * don't use transparent images * set up a PDF-"printer" using ghostscript.
