------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue May 24 04:26:32 -0700 2005 ------- I have been editing a document at work, he title page contains two images linked to bitmaps on disk. Both images are cropped. When I open the document I get a flickering box where the two images overlap eachother. The flickering box shows "read error". Im using WinXP SP2, m104, Verified on 2 differnt machines. I have re-created this issue at home. And included an example zip file which contains the document, two images and a screen capture of the error that im seeing. To re-create the error. 1. Unrar the attached file keeping the directory structure. 2. Under the \document\ directory open example.odt 3. When the document loads, you will see no flickering. 4. Use the mouse wheel or down arrow key (press twice) to scroll the document. 5. Observe the error. I have tried a few things and found that this issue only occurs when the over- lapped image is cropped. Check out example2.odt. The image that is overlapped ("image2") has not been cropped and this defect does not occur. Hope Ive given enough information..
