Sorry, not reproducible. I have 5 Slides in outline view. Now I set the cursor
in front of the first: the "move up" button in the text formatting toolbar (is
it this toolbar what you mean with "symbol bar"?) is disabled and cannot be
used. So therefor the slides cannot be deleted like you describe it. Please
verifiy this on an offical OOo build. Thanks.
