------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue May 31 23:18:23 -0700 2005 ------- How to reproduce: 1. open Writer 2. insert a fontwork gallary object 3. double click it 4. insert Kanji character (use IME or Insert->Special Character and change font which contains Kanji) 5. edit line shows correct Kanji character 6. press Esc The Kanji character disappers. If I change edit line font explicitly to Kanji font (like HG GothicB Sun in StarSuite8 japanese) then fontwork text shows correct character, but it's really confusing for user. Fontwork should use the same font selection mechanism as edit line. Another solution might be using locale dependent font (and default text) for fontwork gallary, but I believe use the same font for edit line is more user friendly. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
