I think, mmp is wrong with his opinion about the "old" feature. It is extremely helpful for authors. Writer is a "word processor" (text processor) to write (long) text documents, not to read them. Normal users read texts when they are printed (or exported to pdf). It is a good behaviour, not to distribute documents, which can contain macros or other active content. "Software should support the work of the user" and absolutely most work with writer is to write documents! And this is best done with the old feature! I work with Writer, FrameMaker and Word and I prefer Writer because of this "old" feature, which the other software does not have.
