------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jun 13 07:57:32 -0700
2005 -------
I created a Terminal Server on a system running Windows 2003 server (with
Service Pack 1 installed + latest Windows UPdate patches).

After successfully installing several applications, I tried to install OOo 2.0
Beta (1.9m100). I am logged in as "local administrator".

I receive, when launching the installation program, a Windows popup stating
that:
"The installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists
and that you can access it, or contact this application vendor to verify that
this is a valid Windows Installer package".

Same message when double-clicking on the supplied MSI file.
No problem on Windows XP using the same download.
I suspect a problem related to "Windows Installer" runtime versions ...

Jacques

PS: sor far 1.9m100 is GREAT !
