------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Jun 15 03:52:09 -0700 2005 ------- - do a customized setup of OOo, disable the "QuickStarter" option, finish the setup => the "Programs/Startup" menu does not contain a "OpenOffice.org" entry, whic is fine so far - start "OpenOffice.org Writer" from the start menu, proceed through the welcome wizard as usual, wait until an empty text document opens => now the system tray contains the quick starter, and "Programs/Startup" contains an entry "OpenOffice.org" The fact that the start menu entry is created at application startup, and not immediately after the installation finished, suggests that this is not an installation problem. fs->mba: Not sure if you're the right owner. I suppose it has to do with the shutdown icon class, which seems to do a matching between a configuration entry (saying whether quickstart is enabled) and the actual start menu entry "OpenOffice.org". If the former says we need a quickstarter - which seems to be the default in a fresh installation? - the latter is created. Something like this, might talking complete nonsense. Given that the option to disable the quickstarter was re-introduced on explicit and massive request from users, this bug is kind of sad ... --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
