2005 -------
Right now to delete a word, one must move to its beginning or end, and then
delete to the end or beginning of the word respectively. It seems to me that it
would be very useful if there was a single shortcut key which would delete the
word on which the cursor is located, no matter where on the word the cursor is
located.
