- Enter some text in a default text box on some slide. 
- Place the cursor as shown below, where | denotes the cursor:

This| is a test.

- Press Ctrl-Delete. 
- I would be happy with either of the following possible results:

This|is a test.
This| a test.
This|a test.

- Unfortunately the word to the *left* is deleted, if
  Ctrl-delete is pressed and a space follows the cursor 
  position. The unexpected result is:

| is a test.


However, the behavior is somehow consistent, since Ctrl-backspace deletes to the
right (see Issue 50014). :-(
