We upgraded a number of Linux machines from Fedora Core 3 (Core 2 in at least
one case) to Fedora Core 4. This upgrade installed a beta version of OOo (Beta
2.0). According to Frank Schönheit the first time we opened an OOo document we
should have been presented with a "Welcome Wizard" which was suppoed to offer to
migrate our data sources to a new format. This wizard did not appear (for any
of these machines). He also said that we should be able to cause the wizard to
appear by moving or removing the new .openoffice.orgxxx folder. We tried this
and the wizard did not appear then either.

As a result of this failure, all of our database documents came up empty, as the
connection information could no longer be found. We have since corrected this
problem manually, but Frank asked us to submit a report for the wizard failure.
