ES->OS: quiet as described...
- the controls remain in active mode *if*:
a) they have been saved in active mode in the AutoText
b) the document where they are inserted in is in active mode
BUT when inserted in active mode, the controls are invisible. Only switching to
design and back to active mode makes them appear.
