If you change a template after a document has been created on that template,
OpenOffice thinks forever that the template is newer than the documents.

Steps to reproduce:
(1) Create a template.
(2) Create a document based on this template (via File->New->Templates and
Documents).
(3) Edit the template (via File->Templates->Organize->Edit).
(4) Open the document created in step (2). OpenOffice says "The Styles in this
document do not match your current Styles. Should your current Styles be applied
to this document?"
(5) Answer with "Yes".
(6) Save and close the document.
(7) Reopen the document. OpenOffice yet thinks the template is newer than the
document even although the template has not been changed since the last
document's saving procedure.

This behaviour is the same if you use templates of other applications, e.g.
Calc.

This buggy behaviour did not show up in 1.1.4.

-- Workaround --
To my knowledge it is not possible to "fix" such a document/template situation
via the OpenOffice UI. The only possibility is to edit the meta information
stored in the document:

Unpack the corresponding document. Open meta.xml. Change the date found in the
attribute meta:date in the element meta:template to the date found in the
element dc:date. Save the file and repack the document. Opening it does not
cause the message mentioned above to show up again.
