stepwise reproduction, don't know which of the steps are really necessary:
- start StarOfficeMulti setup, m113, wntmsci10.pro, on WinXP
- Install for the current user only, not for all users
- choose custom installation
- choose a different installation location (in my case, g:\office\m113)
- uncheck the installation of the JRE and Adabas
- check the installtion of the plugin
- uncheck the system integration, but leave the Windows Explorer extension
checked
(does this matter somehow?)
- install
- start StarOffice - I did so by starting soffice.exe from the program
directory, not via
the start menu
- complete the welcome wizard
=> a first document opens, and the quickstarter is active
