Please use the new Apache Xerces parser instead the no longer supported crimson
parser.
Crimson is the old Sun JAXP 1.0 reference parser once donated to Apache,
included in JDK 1.4, but no longer supported in favor of the Apache Xerces
parser, which has exchanged the crimson parser in Java 1.5.
The removal of crimson was part of consolidating the Office using less parser /
processors.
There has been a new Xalan module, were the binaries of the latest Apache Java
parser and processor can be found together with a explaining readme.
