In order to find the string "foobar" in a document, I'd type Ctrl+f followed by
"foobar".

However, the Find & Replace sometimes opens a bit (or more) slowly and the
keyboard focus isn't caught immediately. So I might end with "foo" typed in the
*document* and only "bar" in the "Search for" text field. Even knowing the bug,
it is very annoying to have to wait for the dialog to open.

How to reproduce:
1. Open a text document.
2. Push Ctrl+f
3. Immediately type something, eg. "foobar"

Expected behaviour:
"foobar" appears in the Find & Replace dialog (or at least nowhere)

Actual behaviour:
Some first letters of "foobar" might appear in the document - and the user might
not even notice (partly because he/she has just opened the dialog and is going
to move to a different part of the document).

Other dialogs might behave in the same manner, but I think that the Find dialog
is the most critical one, because:
- it is often used
- it is familiar to people: they expect a "Search for" text field to show up
- using it will usually move the focus to a different place in a document.
