However, in general I recommend to *not* checkout on HEAD, since this HEAD is potentially unstable - e.g. if parts of a larger change are already checked in at the time you check out, and others aren't. (This cannot explain the problem of a missing file, but just as a general note) You're probably better off with something like "cvs update -rSRC680_m115 -dP" for the whole source base - this would give you the sources for a particular milestone, which should always be consistent in inself.
