------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jul 11 15:27:49 -0700 2005 ------- This is a general ppt filter issue (import and export): if a sound object is embedded in a presentation, which is then saved as a Microsoft Powerpoint 97/2000/XP presentation, the sound is not retained. When it is opened again in Impress or opened in Powerpoint, the sound is no longer there. Equally, if a sound is embedded in a presentation using powerpoint, it will only appear as a speaker icon in Impress (the icon that PowerPoint uses). There will be no associated sound.
