This is because the search vector $AE$70:$AH$91 isn't sorted. To get correct results this must be sorted or the unsorted parameter in the VLOOKUP statement has to be set. Please keep in mind that brackets and slashes can be interpreted by Calc as regular expressions and therefore can give unexpected results if regular expressions for formulas is activated under tools options spreadsheet calculate.
