------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jul 12 03:01:18 -0700 2005 ------- This is probably just user failure (i.e., I've forgotten the password) but I felt I should raise it anyway. A few months ago I was messing about with an OOo document trying to convert it to a Word 2000 file. I changed the password on it (in OOo) and then saved it as a Word doc. I was unable to open it in Word because of password errors, so saved it back again as OOo. Somewhere along the line I must have overwritten my original OOo file (yes, I'm that clumsy). However, I remember thinking "you've goofed up" and did test re-opening the file in OOo but now, months later, the password simply doesn't work any more and I'm locked out of the file. I'm reasonably sure that I haven't forgotten the password and have tried many variations on what I think it should be to no avail. Questions: 1. Could I have corrupted the password? 2. Is there any hope of recovering this document? (I tried running the macro in issue 44304 but my password is longer than 6 characters) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
